Privacy Policy — SimpleTable: Lists & Auto Sum
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application SimpleTable: Lists & Auto Sum ("the App", "we", "us", or "our").
We respect your privacy and aim to keep SimpleTable simple, transparent, and privacy-friendly. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the App, how information is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information You Enter in the App
SimpleTable allows you to create tables and lists containing information such as:
List names
Column names
Text entered in table rows
Numbers and amounts
Quantities
Prices
Notes
Other information you choose to enter
This information is stored locally on your device.
We do not operate a server for storing your SimpleTable lists, and your table contents are not intentionally uploaded to us.
You are responsible for the information you choose to enter into the App.
2. Local Data Storage
SimpleTable is designed to work primarily offline.
Your lists, tables, columns, rows, and related settings are stored on your device using local application storage.
Your locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App, subject to any backup or restore features provided by your device or operating system.
3. User Accounts
SimpleTable does not require you to create an account.
The App does not require:
Registration
Login
Email sign-in
Social media sign-in
Cloud account
We therefore do not collect account registration information through the App.
4. Advertising
SimpleTable may display advertisements in the future using third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
If advertising is enabled, third-party advertising providers may automatically collect or process certain information from your device in order to provide advertisements, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud, and improve their services.
Depending on the advertising service, device settings, region, and consent choices, this information may include:
IP address
Advertising identifiers
App interactions
Device or app identifiers
Diagnostic information
Advertising performance information
General device information
Approximate location inferred from an IP address
Google and other advertising partners may use this information for advertising, analytics, measurement, security, and fraud-prevention purposes according to their own privacy policies.
The App does not give advertising providers access to the contents of the tables or lists you create unless explicitly stated otherwise in a future version of this Privacy Policy.
5. Personalized and Non-Personalized Advertising
Where permitted, advertisements may be personalized based on information collected by an advertising provider.
In regions where consent is legally required, users may be provided with options regarding personalized advertising and the processing of their information.
Depending on your location and choices, you may receive personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or other forms of advertising permitted by applicable law and the advertising provider.
6. Consent for Users in Certain Regions
For users located in regions such as the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we may use a consent management system when required by applicable law and Google's advertising policies.
If presented with a privacy or advertising consent message, you can select the available privacy choices.
Where required, the App may also provide a way to review or change your privacy choices later.
7. Information Collected Automatically
The core table functionality of SimpleTable does not require us to collect personal information.
However, when third-party services such as advertising SDKs are included in the App, those services may automatically receive technical information necessary to provide their services.
Such information may include device identifiers, IP address, interaction information, diagnostic information, and advertising-related information.
The type of information collected may change depending on the versions and configurations of third-party services used by the App.
8. How Information May Be Used
Information processed by third-party services may be used for purposes such as:
Displaying advertisements
Measuring advertising performance
Preventing fraudulent or invalid advertising activity
Maintaining service security
Diagnosing technical problems
Improving advertising services
Complying with legal requirements
Your locally created table and list content is used by the App to provide its table, list, calculation, storage, editing, and sharing features.
9. Sharing of Information
We do not intentionally sell the contents of your SimpleTable lists or tables.
We do not intentionally upload your table contents to our servers.
When advertising or other third-party services are enabled, those service providers may collect and process information independently as described in their own privacy policies.
For example, Google may process information when Google AdMob or other Google services are used within the App.
Users should review Google's privacy information for additional details about how Google processes information from apps that use Google services.
10. Sharing Tables With Other Apps
SimpleTable may allow you to share table information using the Android sharing system.
When you choose to share information, the selected content is sent to the application or service you choose.
We do not control how another application processes information after you voluntarily share it.
Please avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information with services you do not trust.
11. Permissions
SimpleTable attempts to use only permissions necessary for its features.
If advertising is enabled, the App may require Internet access and network-related functionality so advertisements can be requested and displayed.
Certain advertising technologies may also use device or advertising identifiers in accordance with Android requirements, user settings, applicable law, and advertising-provider policies.
The App does not request unnecessary permissions solely for collecting personal information.
12. Data Security
We take reasonable measures when designing the App to reduce unnecessary collection and transmission of user information.
Because your table data is primarily stored locally on your device, the security of that information also depends on the security of your device.
No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Data Retention and Deletion
Your SimpleTable lists and tables are generally stored locally on your device.
You can delete individual rows or lists using the App's available controls.
You may also remove locally stored application data through your Android device settings or by uninstalling the App.
Information processed independently by third-party services such as advertising providers may be subject to their own data-retention policies.
14. Children's Privacy
SimpleTable is a general utility application and is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly request children to submit personal information directly to us through the App.
If the intended audience of the App changes in the future, we will update our practices and this Privacy Policy as required.
15. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services now or in future versions, including services such as:
Google AdMob
Google Play services
Google Play Store
These services operate according to their own terms and privacy policies.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of applicable third-party service providers for information about their data practices.
16. External Links
The App may contain links to external websites or services, such as:
Google Play Store
Developer application pages
Privacy Policy pages
Other external services
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites or services.
17. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on your device, location, applicable law, and advertising configuration, you may be able to control certain privacy settings through:
Android privacy settings
Advertising settings
Consent messages displayed within the App
Privacy options provided by advertising partners
You may also reset or delete certain advertising identifiers through supported Android settings.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes, when new features or third-party services are introduced, or when legal or platform requirements change.
Any updated version will include a revised effective date.
We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
