1. Summary

  • The App works fully offline. Your photos, scanned documents, and generated PDFs are processed and stored only on your device — we never upload them to any server, and we do not have access to them.
  • The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, which collects certain data as described in Section 4 below.
  • We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information beyond what is described in this policy.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be explicit about this: the App's core functionality (capturing photos, editing, cropping, applying filters, and generating PDFs) happens entirely on your device using Android's built-in APIs. Specifically:

  • We do not upload your photos, scans, or generated PDF files to any cloud service or server.
  • We do not have any backend server that receives, stores, or processes your documents.
  • We do not use any AI or third-party image-processing API for the App's core features.
  • We do not read, scan, or analyze the content of your documents.

Files you create are saved locally in the App's dedicated storage folder on your device and remain there until you delete them, share them yourself, or uninstall the App.

3. Permissions the App Requests

Internet / Network access Used exclusively to request and display ads via Google AdMob, and for the ad network's standard operational needs (e.g., fetching ad creatives, reporting ad performance). The App's PDF creation, editing, and scanning features do not use the internet at all. Used only in the background for ad-serving; not tied to any specific button.

We do not request location, contacts, microphone, or any other permission not listed above.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. To deliver and measure ads, Google AdMob (and its partners) may automatically collect and process certain information, including:

  • Device identifiers, such as your Android Advertising ID
  • IP address and general (coarse) location derived from it
  • Device information, such as device model, operating system version, and language settings
  • App activity data, such as ad impressions, clicks, and interactions
  • Approximate location (if permitted by your device settings)

Your ad choices

You can limit ad personalization or opt out of interest-based advertising through:

Turning off ad personalization does not stop ads from appearing — it means ads you see will no longer be based on your interests.

Consent for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent (where legally required) before showing personalized ads, in line with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework and applicable regulations (GDPR/UK GDPR). You can review or change your consent choices at any time through the in-app consent/privacy options, where available.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If the App is used by a child, ads may still be served through AdMob; if you believe this App is being marketed to or used primarily by children and has not been appropriately configured, please contact us using the details below.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take steps to delete such information.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. The only third party that may receive limited technical/advertising data (as described in Section 4) is Google, through the AdMob service. We do not share your documents, photos, or PDFs with anyone — because we never receive them in the first place.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities.

7. Data Retention

  • Your documents and PDFs: stored locally on your device only, for as long as you choose to keep them. Deleting a file in the App's "My PDFs" screen, or uninstalling the App, permanently removes this data from your device.
  • Advertising data: retained by Google in accordance with Google's own data retention practices; we do not control this data once it is processed by AdMob.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA), including the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent for ad personalization at any time (see Section 4)
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Because the App does not collect or store personal data on our own servers, most of these rights are best exercised directly through your device's ad settings (Section 4) or by managing/deleting files within the App. For questions about data Google processes via AdMob, you may also contact Google directly through the resources linked in Section 4.

9. Security

Since your documents never leave your device through the App, their security depends on your device's own security (e.g., screen lock, disk encryption). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a secure lock screen.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may allow you to share your generated PDFs to other apps installed on your device (e.g., email, messaging, cloud storage apps) via Android's native sharing functionality. Once shared, your file is subject to that third-party app's own privacy policy — we have no control over, and are not responsible for, how those apps handle your data.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
